Amendment of the Post office cash certificates Act, 1917 (XVIII of 1917) so as (i) to delegate, to the officer in charge of a post office or sub-office power of sanctioning the transfer of cash certificates from one person to another and (ii) to raise the limit from Rs. 5,000 up to which payment of the value of post office cash certificates can be made in the event of the death of the holder to this.
