A proposal to exempt Risaldar Kashi Nand, Inspector of the Dir Levies, from the application of Article 478(a) of the Civil Service Regulations and to allow him to count years of his military service towards civil pensions so that, upon retirement, they will bring his service in the civil department up to 25 years. Following his ultimate transfer to the Civil Department, Kashi Nand was authorised to keep his military rank and wear the uniform of his regiment.
