Informing him, with reference to the explanation given in his letter No.176T of the 26th April last, that His Honor has now no doubt that his (Commissioner's) views are quite in accord with those of the Lieutenant-Governor's on the subject relating to the measures which should be employed for the rescue of prisoners carried off by raiders.
