Reporting that the Commissioner of Cooch Behar has not been able to induce the Bhuteas to send boys to be educated, and has placed three young Bhutea Lamas, natives of Sikkim, at the Darjeeling school, and allowed them the subsistence allowance of Rs. 6 a month, and recommending sanction being accorded to Colonel Haughton`s proceedings.
