Thanks for letter of 14- Is of opinion that neither Kishengurh nor Jhullawar would at all like to have to accept the K.C.S.I. - will however try and quickly ascertain this - Thinks that Dhallwar had some notion that he was likely to have the K.C.S.I. offered to him whilst the Gov. General was at Ajmere and he didn't like it at all. Mentions few particulars about Captain Bannerman, who is a very good officer. Expresses a hope that some good appt. will be --
