With reference to his petition dated teh 18th April last, complaining of certain illegal proceedings of the late Cantonment joint Magistrate of Cawnpore, states that he has been informed that an explanation has been called for from that office, and solicits that the whole of the proceedings of the case & as well as some other papers.
