In reply to MIly. department letter no. 418 dated 18th april 1854 submits a statmnet of los on deficent clothing appertaining to the hospitals of H M's 70th regiment at cawnpore amounting to Rs 3407-7-3 deducting therefore the security deposite of jankee pensand their appropriated in part payment to RS 100 leaving a valance due oif Rs 246-7-3.
