With refec.to a lr. of the 14th INstt regardign teh Engagemtn in Engand by teh Court of the services of a Cutter for teh genl. dispensary in Calcutta report that on teh Departure of the Late Cutter Mr. Stodart the charge of that dept. devolved on the Assstt. Mr. Spence and with advertence to teh case of Mr. Plomer who on teh demise of a former cutter was appointed to the cahrge fo the cutters dept. adn was allowed a personal salalry of 100rs. and an additional sum fo rs. 25rs per month recommend that the same allowances may be granted to Mr. spence during the time he may hold temporary charge fo the Dept. and the valuable stores appertaining to it and offer observations regarding Mr. Plomer now cutter fo the Dpot at cawnpore.
