States that His lordships cannot consent to Sir. J. cheape havings 3 months leave onprivate affairs that H.L. shall be ready howevers that sir J. cheake should have leave of absence for 6th months so as to admit of proper permament arrangements being made at once for pegn that in such case H.I would propose that sir J. chepe should receive 6th months leave and that on General young vacating a divisional command in september sir. j. cheape should be transferred as the C.in C. suggests to some Division.
