Read a Despatch from the Honble Court of Directors no. 71 of 1856 dated 30th July replying to letter no. 29th dated 28th February last and transmitting copy of one from the Board of Control together with copy of a letter from the Colovial Office and of the Printed reports of the Emigration Commissioner for 1855 and 1856 therein referred to containing the St. Lucia British # for the sucouragement of Emigration to those Colonies from the East Indies. The inteation to require a contribution from the Coolies towards their return passage is for the present selinquished in regard to all Cooly Emigrants to any West India Colony.
