Read a despatch No. 128 of 1857 dated 2nd June from the Honble the Court of Directors forwarding on continuation of the above desire on the subject of the mortality on baord of emigrant ships from Calcutta to the West Indies copy ship Willesley and the report on the same made by the officers of Government at Trinidad the Honble Court desire to be furnished with a immediat report of the measures which have been taken on pursuance of their orders for considering the general question of mortality on emigrant ship.
