From - With reference to the application for dieting the European and Native Patients in the Medical College preferred by the Principal states that the following order was passed in this Department under date the 21st Ultimo 557 Vizt. In Sanctioning the new distribution allowing accommodation to more European Patients the Honble the President in Council is pleased to fix 5 annas per# as the maximum rate of diet for Europeans and two annas for Natives in repect to the other increases asked for His Honor in Council declines to sanction them as the Government is not in a position to sanction at present any increase not absolutely indispensiable.
