Read a Despatch No. 52 of 1859, dated the 12 May, from the Right Honble the Secretary of State for India, intimating that Mr. W. C. Capper, of the Civil Servant and Messers W. C. Costley & W. Porteo, of the Uncovenanted Service, have been permitted to return to duty. That extensions of leave have been granted to Messers W. Robers, G. A. Pepper, H. C. Wake, T. Blomefield Save, H. P. A. B. Riddell, E. A. Anson, S. Malville, and E. B. Thomhill, of the Civil Servant , and to Mr. W. Grapel, of the Education Department and that Mr. Coutts Tootter has been permitted to resign the Service.
