To Secretary - Acknowledges his letter of the 5th Ultimo, and sanctions the grant to Misser Byjnath of an hereditary Jagheer, which assessed would bear 15,000 Rs. annual Revenue, on substitution of the grant of hands already bestowed on him for his loyal conduct during the meeting - There is no objection to the title to the Jagheer being declared hereditary for the Support of the head of the family holding the title & that succession should be limited to the Lineal descendants of Misser Byjnath in the male line, and that the grant should be sorrorded as to precelude any alienation of it & as far as possible the diversion of the recets from the purpose for which the grant is made vizt to support the dignily of the title. To Give effect to these alterations requests that the Sunured already granted to Misser Byjnath may be returned & that a statement may be submitted containing the particulars of the Jagheer proposed to be granted to him.
