Read a Despatch from the Honble the Court of Director No. 12 of 1855 stating that arrangements have been made for the supply of postage labels from England, But directing that Experements for producing them in India be continued. The Court Desire that letter from England to India be not charged double in the absence there of provision of Indian Postage labels. The project of an uniform rate of postage payable in one sum between England & India has for the present been relinquished.
