Secretary Bengal - In reply to letter dated 5th August last points out the impossibility of securing the services of a qualified Medical officer for the appointment of Principal to the Medical follege on the conditions attached to it of residence on the Premises and limited Practice and proposing to appoint Dr. Magkinnox the # General to the office on a Salary of Rs. 400 Per Month permitting him to # his present appointment and freeing him from the condition of residence. Recommends also that the office of Secretary be held by one of the Junior resident Professors on a Salary of Rs. 100 a Month.
