Secretary - Transmits copy of a letter from Atikinson reporting his having delivered over charge of the junior students of the Persian Class to Lieut.Ayton, and requesting that the same rate of allowances may be granted to him as the acting assistant Persian & Arabic Professor - with a opinion of the Coll Council that Mr. Atkinson be allowed 100 Rs. per month only in addition to his salary as examiner during the time he was acting assistant Persian Professor - Submits that Lieut.Ayton be permitted to draw a salary of 300 Rs per month from the date of his receiving charge until Dr.Lumsden departure for England.
