Notification - With reference to Bengal Notification of 9th March 1852 it has been determined by the Presidention Council that Burmese shall be reckened as one of the languages in which Condidates for the reward of Rs. 1000 granted to Military Officers for propiciency in two or more Native languages may be Examined. States what the Test Books in Burmese are to be and under what restrictious the conditatis will be so examined.
