To Governor -Forwards extract from Courts of Despatch No. 1 of 1855 in the statistical Department dated 21st February accompanied by 5 Copies of the Gazetteer referred to therein with a view to their distribution among such Public Officer employed under Government as may be deemed last qualified to afford the assistance and information required by the Court for the production and publication of a work that shall convey full and faithful accounts of the present state of the E. I. coys. Temtories. the Officers to whom the Gazetters an sent should be instructed to return them within six months with their remarks.
