From Resident Singapore - With copy of a correspondence with the Admiral on the subject of Pirates in the Straits and the best means of destroying them and recommending that fitting out of six Boats for this Service in preference to Mr. Fullertons suggestion proposes the Sale of the Vessels Emerald, Diamond and Pearl to meet the expense. If expense be objectionable thinks 4 or even 3 Boats would be preferable to the present force. - B. S.
