With reference to this Office No.690, dated the 21st January last, relative to the question of the liability of Mr. Thomas, late of the Bengal Pilot Service, to the authority of Govt. in regard to his pension, forwards, for submission to the Govr. General in Council, with the opinion of the Lt-Govr. of certain communications on the subject.
