From Board - Report that the Naval Store Keeper occupied the Hosue belonging to the Customs Department in Clive Street from 12th December last to 3rd Instant and with reference to the principle laid down in the Resolution of Government of 10th January last that charges necessarily incurred in one Department although affording aid to other Department shall be borne in the Department in which they are incurred, asks whether they are still to act up to the Orders of 8th November last which directs that 350 Rs. per mensem shall be charged to the Marine Department and credited to the Customs for the Store Keeper. Offer observations on the effect which the arrangement of 10th January must have in sevelling the charges of the Marine Department and trust that the subject will be brought tot he notice of the Court.
