From Board - With reference to communication on the subject of adopting additional precaustions against the introduction of Plague into this Country. Have communicated with the Marine Board who proposed that the probationary period of Quarantine already in force should be performed at the New Anchorage before proceeding to Diamond Harbour which occasion the employment of an additional Port Surgeon and a Vessel for his & the Quarantine Masters residence as also one for the Pest Hospital.
