To Secretary - Stating that from a comparson of the Establishments of the General Post Offices of Calcutta and Madras and of the Recipts, this Government is of opinion that the Establishment of the General Post Office at Madras ought not to be increased but that some improvement mightbe effected in the Machinery of the Office without exceeding the expenditure now allowed.
