Read a Memorial from the Peons & Gollahs employed in the Civil & Military Offices dated as Per Margin bringing to notice the orders of the Madras Government which deprive them not only of the privilege of being pensioned after a long Service of 30 or 40 years but also of the allowance of Rs. 1/12 which they were in the habit of receiving in the Shape of Clothing allowance and praying that orders be issued for the restitution of said allowance and the continuance of their Pension. - B.
