The Governor in Council observes that it was published in General order in the Military Department under date the 26th December last that His excellency Lieut General Hweett had resigned the Command of H. M. and the Honble Company Forces in India in the 18th of that Month on which day His Excellency also resigned his seat as a member of the Supreme Council - ordered the fore that the necessary communication of His Excellency resighnation of a Member of Council be made to the Sub Treasure and Civil Aduitor.
