Copy of a letter from the Governor-General in Council at Fort St. George to the Supercargoes at Canton, suggesting certain amendments in their estimate for 1799 1800 stating how the bullion sent to China from England is to be divereted to Bengal intimating that additional supplies may be sent from the three Presidencies giving the terms on which they are authorised to draw money on Bengal, and mentioning that they have authorised Mr. G. M. Baloon to pay asum into their Treasury.
