Rejection of the proposal to permit officers who hold permanent appointments in Burma and who are defined for temporary duty in India, to retain the Burma allowances, to which they would otherwise be entitled, provided their absence does not extend to more than six months and the duties for which they are deputed, are of a temporary nature.
