I- Relaxation, as a war measure of the provisions of article 246 Civil Service Regulations so as to allow privilege leave to be accumulated up to a maximum of six months, subject to certain conditions.Decision that officer who were debarred from earning more than three months privilege leave during the war and who were compelled to take long leave are entitled to the concession of accumulated privilege leave. Decision that European officer in Burma who can accumulate privilege leave up to 3 months and 15 days under the exception to Article 251 Civil service Regulations, should be allowed a maximum of 6½ months privilege leave under the concession.Rejection of the proposal of the Government of the united provinces that a fortnight leave on full pay for each year should be allowed to officers who have served in India during the war subject to the condition to that total amount of privilege leave to be accumulated should not exceed 6 months.
