Home Govt. sanction requested to the creation of the post of Adviser on Chinees Affairs in Burma and to the appointment thereto of Mr. W. Warry of Her Majesty`s Consular Service on a pay of R1,200-100-1,800 a month with restrospective effect from the 1st April 1890. Conditions as to leave and pension on which Mr. Warry has agreed to take service permanetly under Govt. of India.
