Transrer to the Home Department of a letter from the Registrar High Court of Judicature Calcutta, regarding the amendment of the Court fees Act, 1870 so as to provide (1) for the levy of a fixed fee of 12 annas to meet the cost of transmission of records from one Court to another and (2) for the payment of such fee in Court fee stamps on each application calling for records.

The National Archives of India is on a mission to digitize and make available online each and every record in its repositories. This is an ongoing effort and some records will be made available before the others.
