With reference to No. 159, dated 8th January last, forwards the usual application, with the necessary papers, for the grant of a pension to Mr. J. King, late Superintendent of the Presidency Jail, with recommendation that the rent of the free quarters allowed him in the Jail may be counted towards his pension.
