Proposal that a member of the Assam Civil Service appointed as Subordinate and Assistant Sessions Judge, Assam Valley Districts should get a duty allowance of Rs. 200 a month in addition to his pay under the time-scale, subject to the condition that his emoluments do not exceed Rs. 850 a month, but in the event of his being promoted to the selection grade he should be allowed to draw the pay in that grade, without additional allowance.
