Grant of Special Pay and Compensatory Allowance to Gazetted Officers of the O.R.P. Decisions that (1) the position of commandant, O.R.P. shall be equivalent to that of Asst. Director, I.B. and the I.P.S. Officers appointed to that post shall draw Special Pay of Rs. 300/-p.m. and Compensatory Allowance of Rs. 100/-p.m. the position of Assistant Commandant. O.R.P. should be compared to an I.P.S., a S.P.E., and a superintendent of police. The officer hired for the position should get special salary of Rs. 200 per month and a compensation payment of Rs. 50 per month. (3) Non-I.P.S. officers, with the exception of Army officers appointed as Assistant Commandant (Adjutant), would be paid on a scale of Rs. 720-1150 and receive a compensatory allowance of Rs. 50 per month. (4) Promotions from the O.R.P. or State Police or direct hires
