Proposal that the initial pay of the Provincial Police Officers promoted from non-gazetted ranks should be fixed under the new time-scale with reference to the respective dates on which they were first appointed continuously to officiate as Deputy Superintendents of Police, periods of leave not being considered as breaks in the continuity of their officiating service.------
