Sanction, with effect from the 1st February, 1920, of increased rates of war allowances to subordinate establishments in Madras, to as to fix the minimum remuneration of clerks and peons in Madras City at Rs. 35, and Rs. 5, and in the Mufassal at Rs. 30, and Rs. 12, respectively. Grant, with effect from the 1st March, 1920, of additional war allowances to head constables and constables in Madras City and Mufassal at the rate of Rs. 3-8-0 and Rs. 3, respectively.
