Submits copy letter from major Genl Gilbert reporting the result of the proceeding of the comm of which he was president for passing Horses into the service suggesting that the limit ofthe average price of Horses which was paid by Govt at 550 should be extended to 600 and also that another president may be nominated in consequence of his departure.
