In reply to a despatfch of the 4th july intimates that as there is a difference between the strength of the shpeicts issued at madras and that enjoined in G.G.G. 15th march last the Govr. Genl. is of opinion that the practice of that presy necd not be disturbed and epecsses his lords hips surprize at the suggestion of the madras.
