Sanctioning the issue of Carbines referred to in their letter no 7239 of the 19th Ultimo, and observing that althaugh the Indent of Feby 1844. has not been registered in their office it was fully within their Competence to have called for such explanation as would have pssibley presented are s incomplete as the present one.
