With refrence to a letter of the 14th Ultimo, remarks that the Court fomerly sancioned the removal of 3 subaternsm and 2 Captain from each Regt. of that they now allowance 3 Captain and fix that as the maximum of absetees of that rank , and conceeves that 6 officer under the rank of field officer may be removed of whom not non than 3 shall be Captains, as the Court sanction a 7th G.G thinks, that Allusion is doubtless made to the freqment employment of 1 field officer.and states that no furhter order appear necessary on the subject and that H. L sees no occsion to publish the Court decision.
