With refrence to mily Department letter no 915 of the 27th march last, and to the G. remanding serjeant Lloyd from the Gwalior Contingent, to the ary transmits, a despatch from the commandant, of arty states that the man was remanded to his fomer corops in the rank seajeants, be held previous to his transfer, to the twon major, list, because nothing of the bad character he is now shewn to have borne in the contingent had been made knwon to the adjit General Department but as it now appears evident that the surjeants, drawken habits, and consequent, unwithiness, for his situation was the real cause of the solicitation on the part of his supercors, that he might bhe permitted, to resign, the same, the rejoin the Arty.
