With reference to a letter of the 24th Jany last, relative to placing the European Troops of the E I Cos service on a similar footing with regard to clothing as those of H Ms. service to the clothing Board report on the proposal to substitute the shell jackets and trousers for the present half mounting allowence states that the Govr. Genl. is of opinion that the European soldiers in the Cos. service should be on the same posting as the Queens Troops in India.
