Laying before the counicl for consideration a paper presented by surgeon I.r. martin proposing that the medical officers at each presidency be required to furnish a report on the medical topography of the province districts city and with the localities of which they may be best acquainted to be after wards collated by a committee of surgeon and formed into a topogaphic memoir and stating details.
