Enclosure to a letter form the commandant of artillery dated the 24th january 1850 No 95.Submits an original letter from Ct lieutt L F lave C B of the 5th Battalion artillery stating that the Packet conataining his copy of the 6 lated of ht ecaptured sickh guns and inscreptions never reached him and that it appears theier package was carried off by the enevy on the 21st November 1848.
