With reference letter of the 11th Instt. reports on a Despatch from the Adjutt. General of the Army, requesting information as to whether the Horse Allowance ( Rs. 10 per Mensem) of Serjeants & Assistant overseers in the D. of P. works, is to be calculatged as forming part of their Consolidated allowances under the G.G.O. 31st December 1850.
