With adertance to his letter no 158 of the 21st augt. last transmits for information and records copy correspondence with the secy to govt. N.W.P. and the adjt genl. of the army contg the santiment of the commander in chief with reference to am application for the service at the dispos al of the govt N.W.P. for employment.
