Transmits for submission to the Govr. genl. a despatch from the adjtt. gnel. of the army on the subject of the Proposed abalition of the Necklaces worn in the Native army in the Bengal Paresidnecy and states that the pesident in Council is of opinion that as the majority of COmmadning officers are in favor of the Necklaces being discontined authrity .
