In reply to letter no. 31 of the 21st Ultimo, sanctioning the Expense actually incurred for hill porterage by the native Troops, composing the Sikhim Force, being defrayed by Govt. and observing that under the Regulations of the Service, the Native Troops are entitled to compensation for dearness of Provisions.
