With reference to mily dept. lr. no. 508 of the 17th ult. reports that a charitable allowance of 3 Rs. per month may under the special reommendation of his case be granted to Ramperand a short service sepoy of the 51th N.I. and that the grant should be temporary pending a reexaination at an interval of 2 years.
