In reply to his despatch No. 5109 of the 14th Decr/48 With reference to the final elause of his letter No. 652 of the 29th august/48 intimats for information that acomplete set of the Madras arty. Recd. up to october 1848 have been procurred from the Govt. of Fort Saint George the last number of which is herewith transmitted as a specirnen together with a copy of the propectus.
